Start & Profile | Custom Reminders for Personal Tasks

For personal tasks, you can now create new custom reminders by setting a date and time.



When a reminder is set, a notification is sent. In addition, the reminders are displayed in Reporting Center and can be rescheduled from there. This makes it easier to keep track of them.

Documents & Plans | File Naming Conventions

File naming conventions allow files in the project to be named in a consistent and traceable manner. They create a clear structure and enable automatic review of file names. Compliance with the guidelines is automatically checked. Deviations are detected and flagged by the system. This reduces the need for manual corrections and provides a reliable foundation for further processing. File naming conventions can be defined by a project administrator in the Project settings.



Conventions can be defined project-wide for specific folders or file types. Configuration is flexible and uses building blocks such as free text, drop-down lists, and fixed or variable numeric and text elements. Even complex requirements can be modeled using regular expressions. For more information on setting up file naming conventions, see the following article: Configuring File Naming Conventions.



After entering or modifying a convention or file name, the system automatically identifies all affected files. Depending on the situation, these files are marked as “outdated” or “invalid.” This provides project participants with a clear overview and allows them to filter specifically for these files.


The status of files after a convention has been applied is visible to all users who have write access to the corresponding folder.



An invalid file name can then be renamed according to the naming convention specified in the file options.



If a new file is uploaded that does not follow the naming convention, a dialog box appears in which the filename can be adjusted to comply with the convention.

Documents & Plans | Signing with DeepSign

With DeepSign, PDF documents can be legally signed directly from buildagil. The advantage is that signed documents are automatically saved back to buildagil, where they can be reused without any manual steps in between.

BIM | Automatic Filter Creation and Color Assignment Using AI

With the filter generator, new filters can be created automatically in the Model Viewer based on a prompt, rather than defining them manually.



In this process, attributes and their values are identified and directly converted into appropriate filters.



For example, elements and properties in the model can be quickly color-coded, which makes visual categorization and analysis easier.

BIM | Creating New Empty Model Assemblies

It is now new to be able to create empty Model Combinations. This allows 2D PDF plans to be displayed directly in the model viewer without first requiring a 3D model.

BIM | Displaying Views While Maintaining the Same Perspective

Views can be reloaded or overwritten without changing the current viewpoint. This allows for a direct comparison of target and actual values from the same perspective without having to perform navigation back to the viewpoint.



In addition, it is possible to capture a new view while maintaining the original perspective.

BIM | Removing Filters

It is now possible to clear an applied filter. This resets the view to its original state, while the filter itself remains in place and is not removed. Additionally, the “Cancel (Keep View)” option is available. This option cancels the filter without resetting the current view. This allows you to create a view using a filter, manually adjust it, and then save it as a view without the filter active.

Tasks & Topics | Optimized Layout for Editing Tasks & Topics

The layout for editing tasks, topics, information, and decisions has been revised and aligned with the display used when creating new items. This enables a more consistent and intuitive user experience.






The process of creating comments has been optimized. This makes it easier to select people by tagging them with "@". You can now also select Contact Groups or Teams, allowing you to select all associated users via the quick selection feature. This makes it easy to address and provide notification to specific groups of people who are not otherwise involved in the topic. In addition, keyboard selection has been improved.



In the Mobile App, you can add photos or videos directly from your device's camera to comments or in the details section.



The process of selecting and assigning meetings has been simplified and made more user-friendly.



For attachments that are not visible to participants in the element, a corresponding notice is now displayed.



In addition, the Visibility of the elements can now also be adjusted retroactively.

Journal | Optimized Layout for Editing Journal Entries

For attachments that are not visible to participants in the journal, a corresponding note is now displayed.



The Visibility Settings for a journal can now also be adjusted retroactively.

Journal | Direct Creation from Templates for Controls & Inspections and in the Model Viewer

When creating journal entries for Controls & Inspections and Model Viewer, these can be created directly using a template in Mobile App, provided that the template has been Pinned in the project beforehand.

Journal | Adding Image Descriptions

For journal entries, it is now possible to add the image description directly in the journal. Using the mobile app with its built-in camera, you can also add the description immediately after taking the photo Taking the picture. The description will then also be visible in the Media library. This allows you to supplement the construction site documentation with more detailed information.

Mobile App | Taking Photos and Videos Using the Attachments

For tasks and topics, journal entries, and controls and inspections, you can now use the camera in the mobile app to add photos and videos to the description or in the comments.

Mobile App | Advanced Options for the Built-in Camera

The camera options have been expanded so that it is now possible to switch between continuous and single-shot modes. This makes it possible to take individual photos more quickly.



It is also possible to enable editing after the photo is taken. This allows you to edit the image after it is taken using the Image editing tools and add a Image Description to journal entries.
