Images & media library

The information about an image that is saved and can therefore be displayed in buildagil depends, among other things, on the device used to capture the image and how the images are uploaded.

If photos taken with a mobile device are uploaded via a computer, some information may be lost. It is therefore recommended that you upload the photos directly from the device used to take them, if possible.

Uploading Images to the Media Library

Images can be uploaded from a local device using the Upload button in the media library.

Images in the media library can be sorted by date taken, classification, or date modified.

If location data was saved when the photo was taken, the location where the photos were taken will be displayed on the map.

Uploading Images via a Journal Entry

Images uploaded via a journal entry are automatically added to the media library.

To save the location and weather data for the photo, the location feature must be turned on and the time the photo was taken must be saved.
For more information about the journal entry, see the following article: Create a journal entry

If the image was uploaded to the media library via a journal entry, you can open the corresponding journal entry by selecting Open Journal Entry.

Uploading Pictures to a Folder

Images can also be uploaded to folders from your local device using the Upload button.

Uploading Images as Attachments in Tasks & Topics and Comments

Images can be inserted from your local device as attachments to tasks and topics, as well as in comments.
