Create journal entry
The following article describes how to create a journal entry with the mobile app or via the browser.
Add a documentation, a defect or an incident.

Create new journal entry
A new journal entry can be created via the + symbol on the Buildagil home page in the browser.
Select the project in which the journal entry is to be created (e.g. Logistics center).
New journal entries can also be created in the project under Journal by clicking on New.
Add photos and videos
Upload photos or videos from your library.
Select categories
Select the appropriate categories for the journal entry.
Enter detailed information
Enter and save the detailed information for the journal entry.
Select documentation, defect or incident
Enter title (optional)
Enter description (optional)
Create Plan section or link document
Remember for rework (recognizable in the overview)
Show more options (create task from entry)
Create a task from a journal entry
Select the company involved
Select the person responsible
Define due date
Saving the journal entry
There are two options for saving.
Save and new (saves the journal entry and creates a new one directly)

App authorizations for first use
When using the Buildagil Mobile app for the first time, access to location, camera and microphone is requested when creating a new journal entry.
Confirm all messages to ensure that the journal entries are entered correctly.
Create new journal entry
Click on the + symbol in the mobile app.
Select journal entry.
Select the project in which the journal entry is to be created (e.g. Logistics center).
Take / add photos and videos
Upload photos or videos from your library.
Capture new photos or video recordings
Capture new recordings
Take a picture or video with the camera. The following options are then available:
Delete recording
Save recording and create new recording
Edit recording directly
Continue (recording is saved and further editing steps are opened)
Save the recording and create a new journal entry
Edit recordings
Editing recordings (e.g. Adding markers or text).
Click on the checkmark to save the edit.
Select categories
Select the appropriate categories for the journal entry.
Enter detailed information
Enter and save the detailed information for the journal entry.
