Menu Navigation

The menu navigation provides quick access to all of Buildagil's key features. It remains visible in all views, making it easy to navigate the system efficiently. The following features are available in the menu navigation:


  1. Profile picture (For more information, see the article: Personal Settings)
  2. Go to the home Page
  3. Message Center (Overview of all current messages)
  4. Search (Across Projects / Within a Project / Favorites)
  5. Projects & Favorites.
  6. New (Create New Elements)
  7. Support (Open Help / Live Support)

Projects & Favorites

The project list displays all projects for which an invitation has been sent. This view provides direct access to the project content. Projects can be pinned so that they appear at the top of the list.



The filter is used to restrict the project list to projects based on their project location, which can be defined in Project settings.



The options control the display, sorting, and navigation (direct link to the project).




Under "Favorites," documents and folders that have been saved as favorites are displayed for each project. For more information about favorites, see the article Favorites.

Tasks

The task overview displays the Tasks and Journal Entries from all projects in which you are listed as the person responsible or a participant. In addition, project-independent Personal tasks tasks are displayed. You can use the search function to search directly within the task list by task name. You can use the filter to sort by due date, involvement, and project. Using the options, you can expand or collapse the view to include or exclude tasks for collaboration. You can also switch between the list view and the Personal task board view.

Appointments

The schedule overview displays all cross-project meetings in which a user is listed as a participant at one location. This makes it easier to perform planning and track past and upcoming appointments.

Personal Progress

The "Personal Progress" section displays the status of all tasks. When you open "Personal Progress," your personal task board is automatically displayed.



The color code in the diagram has the following meaning:

  • Dunkelrot: overdue or unscheduled tasks for which you are responsible
  • Hellrot: overdue or unplanned tasks in which you are involved
  • Grün: recently completed tasks
  • Dunkelgrau: open tasks with future due dates for which you are responsible
  • Grau: open tasks with future due dates in which you are involved

News Articles

News posts can be used to keep all project participants informed about current topics, progress, or changes. These posts serve as a central communication channel and promote transparency within the project team. You can find information about news posts in the following article: News Articles.

Customizing the Home Page

The "Customize Home Page" option allows you to add additional widgets and links to the home page. You can move and rearrange the widgets using drag-and-drop. The “+” icon controls the display of additional content, such as project status, webcams, or external content. Depending on the type, external content can be displayed directly in the preview or opened in a browser via a link.
