Open Folders and Documents Locally

Open a folder in OneDrive:
The Open in OneDrive role allows you to open a specific folder directly from buildagil in File Explorer via OneDrive.



Opening Documents in a Local App:
The Open in App feature allows you to open and edit all file formats from buildagil directly using a locally installed program. This is very useful for CAD files, for example.


In the following example, a DWG file is opened:

You can use shortcuts to create links to websites and to local and server-side folders and documents within the buildagil folder structure.



The links will then appear below the folders in the folder structure.

Model Viewer Optimizations and Enhancements

Displaying Metadata / Attributes:
The Model Viewer can display the metadata for elements. To view object information, right-click on the desired element and then click the Information button.



The Show Properties on Selection feature displays object information immediately when an element is selected.



Display Options:
You can change how the model is displayed using the Show Edges and Show Shadows display options. To improve the performance of the model viewer, you can turn these two settings off.



Representation of Rooms (IfcSpace):
The IFC type "IfcSpace" represents rooms in the model. These rooms can be displayed using the Show Rooms function. In addition, the object information for the rooms can also be displayed.



View older model versions:
You can view an older version of a model through its version history. You can also download the older version this way.
