Copy / Paste

On buildagil, just like in Windows Explorer, you can always copy items by right-clicking -> Copy or using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C. This copies the data to the clipboard, and you can then paste it into the destination using Ctrl + V.


Here are some possible applications and examples.


Uploading Documents:
When you copy documents from File Explorer, you can paste or upload them in buildagil using Ctrl + V.



Inserting Attachments:
Documents copied from File Explorer can be pasted or uploaded as attachments in buildagil for tasks, topics, journal entries, and inspections. To do this, copy the documents and paste them into descriptions, comments, etc., using Ctrl + V.



Linking to Documents and Images:
When documents or images stored in buildagil are copied using Ctrl + C, the link to the document is also saved to the clipboard. The link can then be pasted into a comment, for example.


Tip: To select items more quickly, hold down Ctrl while clicking on the items (documents, images, etc.).



Copying in the document repository:
You can use Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste documents and folders from one folder to another (within the same project or across projects).


Moving items in the document repository:
You can move documents and folders from one folder to another by cutting them with Ctrl + X and pasting them with Ctrl + V.



Clipboard in the Mobile App:
If a document or image is in the clipboard, it can be uploaded to the mobile app from the clipboard. For example, you can upload documents or insert images into inspections.



Personnel Field for Controls & Inspections


The "People" field allows you to select any contacts from the project and display them in an inspection or control report.
This makes it possible, for example, to identify responsible or present individuals in the protocol.

Conversations for Documents

Conversations and topics can now be created newly from a document.

Desktop app for macOS

The buildagil desktop app is now also available for macOS. With this update, buildagil can be used independently of the browser and pinned to the Dock.
