Push Notifications for the Desktop App
To ensure that no messages are missed, push notifications can be enabled in the browser and the desktop app. When push notifications are enabled, a pop-up appears as soon as a new message arrives. Using push notifications is a convenient alternative to email notifications.

For detailed information on how to enable push notifications, see the following article: Push notifications
QR Codes for Documents and Model Views
QR codes can be created for documents, folders, and model views. When you scan the QR code, the document or model view linked to it opens immediately.
Examples of QR codes for documents:

Optimizing the Model Viewer
Loading times and performance for viewing models and point clouds in the Model Viewer have been significantly optimized. In addition, the processing and display of complex geometries have been improved.
To view existing models with our improved processing, you can click Update Model under Models in older versions.

To adjust the Model Viewer's performance as needed (e.g., when computing power is limited or models are very large), you can use navigation optimization.
Moving the slider to the right results in smoother navigation. As a result, certain elements may be hidden or displayed at a lower quality during navigation.

The e57 point cloud format is now new and can be viewed using the Model Viewer and used in model assemblies (e.g., with IFC models or other point clouds).

For detailed information about our model viewer, see the following article: Open & Edit Models
Optimizing Navigation in the Mobile App
To view additional options for an item in the mobile app, you can press and hold the item in addition to tapping the three dots (...).
This feature can be helpful, for example, when opening projects or editing documents.

BuildingSMART openCDE API (BCF API & Documents API)
The first version of the BCF API and the Documents API is now available. This interface enables tasks, documents, and other information to be exchanged automatically and in a standardized manner between buildagil and third-party systems.
Integration of additional third-party systems with buildagil (including Solibri) will be rolled out gradually. For more information about the interfaces, as well as support for a specific integration or implementation, please contact us via our Support.
Exporting Contact Lists
Mac users now have the new option to export a contact list in CSV format. This can be done using the Export List as CSV feature. For Windows users, Excel synchronization is still available. For more information, see the following article:
Export contacts to Excel

Optimized Link Opening
When opening links to documents and models—such as those sent via email—the new viewer for the corresponding document or model on buildagil now opens automatically. For example, when a link to a model is opened, the model viewer opens automatically.
