Creating QR Codes for Documents

For information on how to add QR codes to plans and documents for version control, see the following article: Version Verification Using a QR Code for PDF Documents.

When you scan a QR code, the corresponding document or folder opens automatically in buildagil. These QR codes can, for example, be distributed on construction sites so that scanning the code directly opens the relevant document. To create a QR code for a document or folder, open the "three-dot menu" and select the "Copy Link" option. For more information on copying and using links, see the following article: Linking Folders & Documents.

A window will then appear at the bottom of buildagil, where you should select the "QR Code" option.

An image containing the QR code will then be downloaded as a PNG file.

When scanning a QR code, the document or folder will only open if the person scanning it has the appropriate visibility. For more information, see the following article: Visibility & Permissions for Folders & Documents.
