Additional Information:
Project | Redesign of the Recycle Bin
The recycle bin has been redesigned in terms of both the view and functionality. Deleted items are now displayed in a new clear list showing the name, deletion date, the person who deleted the item, the person who originally created the item, the item size, and the remaining retention period. You can use the search function to look for specific items by name, creator, or deleter, and the quick selection feature lets you switch between viewing all deleted items or only those you deleted yourself.

Restoration is now performed via the three-dot menu and by selecting multiple items. If the original folder structure is missing during restoration, it can be created new during the restoration process, and name conflicts at the destination are automatically resolved. For more information about the recycle bin, see the following article: Recycle bin.
Project | Linking Guidelines in the Project Settings
For the guideline in the project settings, a new option has been added to specify an external link (URL) in addition to a document from the project or from the device. This allows guidelines to be stored centrally and integrated into multiple projects via a link, so that changes made to the source are automatically applied to all projects in which the guideline is linked. This eliminates the need to maintain the document multiple times.

For more information about project settings, see the following article: Project settings.
Documents & Plans | Simplified Creation of Links
It is now possible to create a shortcut for one or more documents directly from the context menu. This eliminates the need to manually enter the name and path.

For more information on links, see the following article: Links in the folder structure.
Documents & Plans | Discontinuation of the Direct Connection to Adobe Acrobat
Due to a change in the authentication workflow in Adobe Acrobat, it is no longer possible to open PDF documents directly with Adobe Acrobat via the buildagil Opener. You can still edit PDF documents with Adobe Acrobat via OneDrive. Through OneDrive, you can use any PDF program, provided it is set as the default program for opening PDF files.

For more information, see the following article: Editing PDF Documents with Local Programs.
BIM | Distance and Point Measurement for Point Clouds
Distance measurement and point measurement are now new with point clouds. This allows you, for example, to retrieve elevation contours, measure distances directly within the point cloud, or determine discrepancies between a point cloud and a 3D model.

For more information on measuring in the model, see the following article: Measuring and Cutting in the Model.
BIM | Model Editing with cadwork
With the new cadwork app, project content such as Model tasks from buildagil can be viewed, and the corresponding model views can be opened directly in cadwork. Since there is no need to search for the appropriate sections manually, model adjustments can be made efficiently.

Models saved in buildagil can be opened directly from the document area in the cadwork app. The App also provides access to your personal home page, tasks, projects, and favorites. Using the OneDrive Synchronization button, changed IFC and PDF files can then be saved directly back to buildagil.

For more information on editing models with cadwork, see the following article: Model Editing with cadwork.
Tasks & Topics | Search Comments
Comments can now be searched for specific content using the magnifying glass icon in the comments section, which makes it easier to navigate, especially in long comment threads. Found comments are highlighted with a border, and the currently selected comment is displayed with a green border. Press Enter to jump to the next found comment, and use the arrow keys ↑ and ↓ to switch between the next and previous comments. For tasks, linked checklist items also allow you to jump directly to the corresponding comments using the “Find in Comments” option.

For more information about the comments, see the following article: Working with Comments.
Tasks & Topics | Exporting Individual Elements
Tasks, topics, and journal entries can now be exported directly as Word or PDF files via the context menu.

For more information on exporting tasks, topics, and journal entries, see the following articles: Exporting Tasks & Topics, Exporting Journal Entries.
Tasks & Topics | Resetting Subtasks for Employees
The status of a subtask assigned to employees can now be manually set or reset by the project administrator, the task creator, or the person responsible for the task. This allows a subtask that has already been marked as completed to be set back to open.

For more information on completing subtasks, see the following article: Editing Tasks.
Tasks & Topics | Role-Based Default Recipients for Comments
Starting now, the default recipient group consisted of the employees, the person responsible or in charge, and the creator of an item. The new default recipient group will be determined based on roles and in a cascading manner: If the person providing the comment is themselves listed as responsible or in charge, the employees’ names will be pre-filled. If there are no employees, the creator of the item is pre-filled instead. If the person making the comment is designated as a collaborator, the responsible/in-charge person is pre-filled. This helps ensure that only those who are actually affected are notified. The recipient group can be expanded individually or through groups.

For more information about the comments, see the following article: Working with Comments.
Tasks & Topics | Reply to the author or to all comment recipients
When replying to a comment, you can now choose whether to reply only to the author of the comment or, as before, to send the reply to all recipients of the original comment. The original comment is automatically linked in the new comment. This allows you to address specific people more directly.

For more information about the comments, see the following article: Working with Comments.
More | Optimizing List Options
The actions in list views have been consolidated and are new and can now be accessed via the "Show Options" button. This results in a cleaner interface.

More | Caching Elements
For Tasks & Topics, journal entries, meetings, and controls & inspections, you can now save a draft by right-clicking the Save button without closing the item. This allows you to continue editing immediately.
