Additional Information:
BIM | Optimizing Assemblies with Plans
Plan-based task management—for example, on a construction site or in quality assurance—has been optimized. Tasks and journal entries can now be pinned directly to the plan without requiring a model. To achieve this, the plan is initially converted upon addition, enabling the spatial positioning of elements. If a compilation contains only plans, it opens automatically in the 2d view and Top View. This eliminates the need to manually switch views. When you focus on a plan by double-clicking on the plan itself or in the object structure, it is automatically focused in the Top View.

In the Object Explorer, models and plans can now be isolated directly with a single click. Previously, this was only possible through the Options menu.

For more information, see the following articles: Compilations & Editing and Overlaying Plans and Models.
BIM | Automatic View Generation
In the Model Viewer, new views can now be automatically created and loaded using artificial intelligence (AI) based on a prompt. This is useful for a quick, spontaneous evaluation of the model—for example, to check individual attributes or groups of elements on the fly without having to use the filter. The view can then be saved as well.

For more information about model views, see the following article: Model Views.
BIM | Optimizing Tasks and Views
Task markers in the model will now remain visible even after the "Tasks & Journal Entries" panel is closed.

When objects are hidden, task markers outside the bounding box of the visible objects are now displayed as transparent rather than in full color. This ensures that the positions of other tasks in the model remain visible, even if the corresponding objects are not currently displayed.

For more information, see the following article: Creating & Viewing Tasks.
BIM | Marking the Survey Point in Views
When creating tasks or journal entries in the model and when copying views, the capture point in the view is now new and clearly marked with a pin. This makes it immediately apparent in the view where in the model the task or journal entry is located.

For more information, see the following article: Creating & Viewing Tasks.
Tools & Interfaces | Process Automation with Power Automate and Other Tools
buildagil can now be connected to Microsoft Power Automate and other automation tools in a new way. This integration enables the automation of workflows within buildagil as well as between buildagil and third-party systems, without requiring any programming knowledge. Flows can react to changes in buildagil in an event-driven manner as soon as they occur. Additionally, actions can be performed within buildagil, such as creating or updating tasks and documents. Typical use cases include automatically moving documents based on their status, automatically categorizing items based on their content, or forwarding information to third-party systems when items are created or modified in buildagil. The available triggers and actions correspond to the capabilities of the buildagil openCDE API.

For more information, see the following articles: Process Automation with Power Automate / Process Automation Using Various Tools.
Tools & Interfaces | Global Search via the openCDE API
A new global search with filtering is now available via the buildagil openCDE API. This allows you to perform targeted searches for content in buildagil and reuse the results in your own applications or analyses. For more information on the buildagil openCDE API, see the following article: Buildagil openCDE API.
Tools & Interfaces | Various Extensions to the openCDE API
The buildagil openCDE API has been expanded to include various new features. Users can now view, create, and change personal tasks. The "Tasks & Topics" section also offers additional content, such as participants and comments, as well as advanced filtering options. For more information, see the following article: Buildagil openCDE API.
Tools & Interfaces | Customizing the Server URL for the openCDE API
To allow for more flexible future extensions of the openCDE API, the server URL has been changed from https://api.buildagil.com to https://openapi.buildagil.com. As a result, the following has changed:
- New endpoints are now
https://openapi.buildagil.com/1.0/...instead ofhttps://api.buildagil.com/bcf/3.0/... - New authentication endpoints:
https://openapi.buildagil.com/oauth2/... - Authentication scope is new "api" instead of "bcf"
The previous server URL and endpoints will remain active until December 31, 2026. For more information about the openCDE API, see the following article: OpenCDE API.
More | Revised Revision History
To make it easier to track changes to elements, the change history has been revised and is now available in a standardized format for all elements.

Each entry corresponds to a change made to a field and shows the person who edited the field, the field affected, and the date and time. The details of a change can be viewed by expanding the entry. Using the controls in the upper right corner, you can expand or collapse all entries or just the entries for a specific field (e.g., Description).

For more information, see the following article: Change History.
More | Linking Templates
You can copy a direct link to a template from its Options menu. This simplifies the management and development of templates, especially when cross-project or company-wide templates need to be referenced centrally—for example, by including the link in a task. When you open the copied link, the corresponding template opens directly in edit mode.

For more information, see the following articles: Templates for Tasks & Topics, Templates for Journal Entries and Templates for Controls & Inspections.
