Tip:
Project Settings | Teams
The display of teams in the project settings has been revised and optimized. New features allow teams to be customized, added, or removed more easily.

For more information about team settings, see the following article: Teams
Project Settings | Plot Service
The display of the plot service in the project settings has been revised and optimized. Here, you can select the desired provider and configure billing information as well as instructions for order creation.

For detailed information on plotting documents and plans, see the following article: Plotting Documents & Plans
Documents & Plans | Optimizing Offline Availability in the Mobile App
The offline availability of documents in the mobile app has been optimized in terms of both display and performance. Documents saved as favorites can be made available offline.
Documents kept offline are updated in the background. If a document kept offline has recently been changed but has not yet been updated, a corresponding message is displayed. This ensures that you can always work with the most up-to-date documents, even in offline mode.

For more information on the favorites, see the following article: Favorites
Documents & Plans | Navigation to the PDF section in the document
A PDF excerpt can be opened directly in the PDF document by selecting "Open Source." When you open a PDF excerpt, the corresponding document now automatically opens in the view in which the excerpt was created. This allows you to navigate directly to the correct location in the document.

For more information on extracting sections from PDF documents, see the following article: Create Plan Sections
Documents & Plans | Links to Pages and Notes in the PDF Document
You can copy the link to a page and to annotations (e.g., comments, highlights, rectangles, etc.) in a PDF document and use it in tasks, topics, journal entries, and comments. This eliminates the need to spend time searching for the relevant section in large documents. For PDF documents, you can access this role by right-clicking on the desired page.

To add a comment, you can copy the link after selecting the comment.

For more information on editing PDF documents online, see the following article: Edit PDF documents online
BIM | Exporting Views as PDFs
You can export a view as a PDF. The view is copied to the clipboard and can be pasted into the description or a comment in tasks, topics, and journal entries.
A true-to-scale PDF export of views enables precise further processing, sketching, and the addition of technical details without having to go through a CAD program, allowing for more efficient work with the model. You can align the view with the section using "Focus," which facilitates precise positioning and ensures optimal display for export. For more information, see the following article: Aligning a View to a Section

For detailed information on model editing, see the following article: Editing & Opening Models
Journal | Creating Journal Entries
The process for creating journal entries has been updated and optimized, making it easier to use and more stable. New features are being added on an ongoing basis. We welcome your feedback.

For more information on creating journal entries, see the following article: Creating Journal Entries
Journal | Templates for Journal Entries
It is now possible to create templates for journal entries. This greatly simplifies the process of creating journal entries.

For more information on the functionality of journal templates, see the following article: Journal Templates
Journal | Optimizing the Process of Adding Plan Sections
Documents saved as favorites are displayed immediately when you add a plan section. This eliminates the need to search through the folder structure. It simplifies the process of adding plan sections to journal entries. This feature also allows you to create plan sections offline in the mobile app and add them to a journal entry.

For more information on creating plan sections, see the following article: Creating Plan Sections
Journal | Offline Availability in the Mobile App
Journal entries can now also be created offline in the mobile app. To make this feature available in a project, the project must first be pinned. The journal entry can then be created. If there is no internet connection when saving, a message will appear stating that the entry could not be saved. You can try saving again as soon as the internet connection is restored. This has the advantage that documentation or defects can be recorded directly on the construction site, even with a poor internet connection.

Journal | Importing Content from a Previous Journal Entry
Once a journal entry has been created, you can then select which content from the previous entry should be carried over when creating a new entry. This has the advantage that recurring information does not have to be re-entered, making the creation of new journal entries significantly faster and more efficient.

In the mobile app, you can also use "Save & New" or "Save Draft & New" to open a new entry with selected content directly.

Journal | Expanding the Camera in the Mobile App
In the mobile app, you can now choose whether to use the built-in camera or the device's camera to take photos and videos. By default, the built-in camera is enabled, which allows for direct editing and taking multiple photos.
You can switch to the device's camera via the options. Depending on the device you're using, additional shooting settings may be available. However, the device's camera does not allow for direct editing after taking a photo, and you cannot take photos in rapid succession.

Miscellaneous | Adding Favorites
You can now add favorites directly from the home page without leaving the favorites view. The desired project opens conveniently within the view, and you can select the documents you want.

For more information about the favorites, see the following article: Favorites
Miscellaneous | Optimizing Notification Settings
It is now possible to configure email notifications in greater detail. This allows you to limit email notifications to meeting and acceptance reports, or to disable them entirely.

For more information about messages and notifications, see the following article: Messages & Notifications
Miscellaneous | Displaying Draft Status for Tasks & Journal Entries for Controls & Acceptances
If a journal entry or task is added to a control or inspection process and is still in draft form, this is now indicated by the icon. This makes the item's status immediately apparent.

For more information on controls and inspections, see the following article: Creating Controls & Inspections
Tip | Gesture Control in the Mobile App
Simple gestures let you navigate and control the mobile app in a flash. This saves time, is intuitive, and makes it easier to use.

For more information and roles related to gesture control in the mobile app, see the following article: Installing and Using the Mobile App
