Basic Requirements

To get the most out of buildagil, all you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a recent browser.


Web Browser

The following web browsers are compatible with buildagil:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari


Recommendation: The latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.


Mobile App

The buildagil mobile app is compatible with the following operating systems:

  • Android version 9 or later
  • iOS version 14 or later

Outlook app

The buildagil Outlook app is compatible with the following operating systems and versions of Outlook:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (version 1903 or later) or Microsoft Windows 11, as well as Microsoft Outlook 2021 or Microsoft 365
  • macOS with Safari (version 13.0.5 or later) and Microsoft Outlook 2021 or Microsoft 365

Desktop App

The buildagil desktop app is supported by the following web browsers:

CAD apps

The buildagil CAD apps are supported by the following CAD programs:

  • Archicad (version 27 and later)
  • Revit (version 25 or later)
  • Navisworks (version 25 and later)
  • Vectorworks (version 25 and later)

The following requirements must be met for synchronization with OneDrive:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (version 1803 or later) or Microsoft Windows 11 with the latest OneDrive client (Download)
  • The latest version of macOS with the latest OneDrive client (Download)

Office Programs

To edit Office documents locally, the following requirements must be met:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 or Microsoft Windows 11, as well as Microsoft Office 2021 or Microsoft 365
  • macOS and Microsoft Office 2021 or Microsoft 365

Local PDF Programs

buildagil can be integrated with the following PDF programs:

  • Adobe Acrobat
  • PDF XChange
  • Bluebeam
  • Foxit
  • Power PDF


Adobe Acrobat is supported on macOS; all other connections are supported only on Microsoft Windows 10 and 11

Microsoft Project

To edit the scheduling in buildagil, you need one of the following licenses:

  • Cloud-based solution: Project Plan 3 or later
  • Local solution: Project Professional 2021 or new
