Installing the cadwork app

The cadwork app can be installed on individual devices and is available only for Windows.

Download the buildagil cadwork 2025 app

When you download the file, a ZIP file will be downloaded, which must first be extracted. We recommend saving the "buildagil" folder contained in the ZIP file to the API.x64 directory of the desired cadwork user profile. Example paths:

<cadwork-Benutzerprofil>\3d\API.x64\buildagil\

C:\Users\Public\Documents\cadwork\userprofil_2025\3d\API.x64\buildagil\

The exact path to the user profile may vary depending on your cadwork installation. You can find it in cadwork under User Settings.

After that, you can launch cadwork. The cadwork app for buildagil can now be opened from the plugin bar.

The cadwork app cannot be used with cadwork demo or viewer licenses.
