Enabling the tabs for the desktop app

Enable Tabs

Tabs in the desktop app work the same way as in the browser and allow you to have multiple windows open side by side at the same time. To enable tabs and open multiple windows and projects at the same time, follow these steps:

Edge and Chrome browsers:
Copy the following link into your browser's search bar, and then under Desktop PWA tab strips, set the option to Enabled.

This role is still in beta in the browser.

edge://flags/#enable-desktop-pwas-tab-strip
edge://flags/#enable-desktop-pwas-tab-strip-customizations

chrome://flags/#enable-desktop-pwas-tab-strip
chrome://flags/#enable-desktop-pwas-tab-strip-customizations

Using Tabs

When the desktop app is opened, the home page appears. The home page always remains open and can be accessed by clicking on the buildagil logo.
As soon as a new project is opened, a new tab appears.

To open a new tab, click the + icon. A project selection screen will then appear, allowing you to open another project.

Another way to open a new tab is to click Open in New Tab in tasks, documents, etc.

Alternatively, you can click on a project or item (documents, tasks, etc.) using the middle mouse button or mouse wheel, which will open a new tab with the selected content.
