Home & Navigation | View Previous News Articles

It is now possible to view previous new posts and search through the list. This ensures that even older entries remain accessible at all times.

For more information on these news items, see the following article: News Articles.

Start & Navigation | Optimized Window Navigation

Window navigation has been optimized so that clicking on the minimized navigation bar opens the windows in a compact view. As a result, the view takes up less space—especially on mobile devices—while still offering the same functionality.

For more information on window navigation, see the following article: Window Navigation.

Start & Navigation | Optimized Navigation in the Outlook app

Navigation in the Outlook app has been optimized so that appointments are now displayed in a separate tab. This makes it easier to access appointments in the app.

For more information on navigation in the buildagil apps, see the following article: Navigation in the apps.

Planning | Optimized Display of Milestones

The layout for creating and editing milestones has been optimized. Data entry is now more intuitive, making it even easier to create and edit milestones.

For more information on task planning, see the following article: Task planning.

BIM | Overlaying Plans in the Model

By overlaying PDF plans on the model, you can incorporate information that is only included in the plan or that would be very time-consuming to model in 3D. This includes, for example, labels, symbols, details, and dimension lines.
This adds additional content to the model, thereby increasing its informational value and clarity. This facilitates alignment between planning and execution, supports coordination on the construction site, and improves quality assurance.

PDF plans can be added to a model in the Model Viewer, positioned, and displayed as overlays. The plans can be searched for, filtered, color-coded, and customized using various display options within the model. Comments and drawings from the PDF are imported into the plan and displayed in the model.

Changes to the PDF are automatically detected and updated after reprocessing. Because the plan's position and scale are saved project-wide, it can be reused for other model assemblies without having to be repositioned in the model.

Only PDF files are supported. For multi-page documents, only the first page is processed.

For more information on positioning and editing PDF plans in models, see the following article: Overlaying Plans and Models.

BIM | Model Editing with Archicad

With the Archicad app, project content such as Model tasks, documents, and other elements from buildagil can be viewed and edited in Archicad. Model sections from the tasks can also be opened directly in Archicad. This eliminates the need to manually search for the correct view, and changes to the model can be made efficiently.

Models saved in buildagil can be opened directly from the Documents section in the Archicad app. The App also provides access to your personal home page, tasks, projects, and favorites. Using the OneDrive Synchronization button, changed IFC and PDF files can then be saved directly back to buildagil.

For more information on editing models with Archicad, see the following article: Model Editing with Archicad.

BIM | Model Editing with Revit

With the Revit app, project content such as Model tasks, documents, and other elements from buildagil can be viewed and edited in Revit. Model sections from tasks can also be opened directly in Revit. This eliminates the need to manually search for the correct view, and changes to the model can be made efficiently.

Models saved in buildagil can be opened directly from the Documents section in the Revit app. The App also provides access to your personal home page, tasks, projects, and favorites. Using the OneDrive Synchronization button, changed IFC and PDF files can then be saved directly back to buildagil.

For more information on editing models in Revit, see the following article: Model Editing with Revit.

Tasks & Topics | Optimized Layout

The layout for creating tasks, information, decisions, and topics has been optimized. This lays the groundwork for further optimizations of these elements.
