Edit PDF documents with local programs
The following article describes how to connect local PDF programs to buildagil in order to edit PDF documents with a local program.

Open a PDF in buildagil and click on Edit in PDF app.
A window will then appear asking you to install a utility program that will connect the local PDF app to buildagil.
By selecting Adobe Acrobat, PDF-XChange, Foxit, Power PDF and Bluebeam, you can choose which program you want to use. Then click on Install to start the download.
The connection to Adobe Acrobat is available for macOS. All programs are available for Windows.
If your PDF app does not appear in the selection, please contact buildagil support. We will clarify whether it is possible to connect your PDF app to buildagil.

If you use a different PDF app or would like to deactivate this role, you can click on Change setting when the message appears after opening a PDF document.
A window then appears in which another program can be selected. Click Edit PDF to open the document directly in the selected program and save the program selection.
After installing the utility program, the PDF document can now be opened with the local PDF app via Edit in PDF app.
After clicking on Edit in PDF app, a window appears in which the opening of the document must be confirmed.
By ticking the box, this message will no longer be displayed next time.
Click on Open to open the PDF.
PDF documents cannot be edited locally by several people at the same time. The persons receive an error message that the document cannot be saved if they want to edit a borrowed / checked-out document.
