Create a new task

New tasks can be created in several places in buildagil. The "New" button is available on the Personal home.



Within a project, a new task can be added with "Create" via the "My tasks" or "All tasks" division.



It is also possible to create a Documents or Folders. The respective file or folder is automatically linked in the task description.



In Task board, a new task can be entered directly on a specific day of the week.



It is also possible to create tasks directly from a document. Depending on the document type, a Plan section or Model section can also be added directly.

Editing the title & categories

When creating a task, you can assign a title that briefly and clearly describes the task. In addition, one or more categories can be selected to classify the task thematically. This information helps to categorize tasks later Search and filter.



Edit the details & checklist

Content, notes or links can be added to the task description. Documents and folders from the project can be linked directly to add relevant information to the task. Attachments can also be uploaded from your own device. If necessary, Plan sections can be added.



Checklist items can be added for better structuring. These help to divide the task into individual steps that can be edited and ticked off one after the other.



Editing the assignment & planning

The task can be assigned to a responsible person. This person is responsible for editing and completing the task. In addition, other people can be defined for collaboration, who should be informed about changes and comments. The options can also be used to select and add entire Teams or Contact groups. You can also set a due date or select an existing Target date (milestone) via task planning. This ensures that the task is completed on time.

Editing the coordination

If necessary, the task can be assigned to a Meeting in order to discuss or document it there in the appropriate context.



Save & assign the task

A task can be temporarily saved as a draft at any time when it is created or adjusted. The participants are not yet informed about the new task. When the creation of the task is completed with "Save & assign", the participants are informed via the Reporting center.
