The download role can be used to download individual or multiple documents as well as entire folders.
If several documents or folders are selected, the download takes place as a ZIP file.

When downloading documents and folders, there are the following technical limitations regarding file sizes:
Multiple files / folders: Maximum 20GB
Possible solutions:

Single file: Maximum 250 GB

Troubleshooting downloading folders via the desktop app with Safari
When downloading folders via the Safari desktop app, it can happen that a new tab opens in the Safari browser without content. The download is not started and no further action is taken. This is due to a limitation of the Safari desktop app, as the download of folders is not supported. It is possible to download individual files. Alternatively, another standard browser can be used to install the desktop app or buildagil can be used directly in the Safari browser.
