Cadwork app
System Requirements: System Requirements for CAD Apps
Installing the cadwork app
The cadwork app can be installed on a per-device basis and is available only for Windows.
Download the buildagil cadwork 2025 app
Download the buildagil cadwork 2026 app
When you download the file, you will receive a ZIP file that must first be extracted. We recommend saving the "buildagil" folder contained in the ZIP file to the API.x64 directory of the desired cadwork user profile. Example paths:
<cadwork-Benutzerprofil>\3d\API.x64\buildagil\
C:\Users\Public\Documents\cadwork\userprofil_2025\3d\API.x64\buildagil\
After that, you can launch cadwork. The cadwork app for buildagil can now be opened from the plugin bar.

Troubleshooting
If cadwork crashes as soon as you click on the buildagil plugin, you should first check the installation steps—specifically, the version, the installation location, and whether the ZIP file was extracted correctly. If these are correct, the problem is often caused by a Windows security block. Windows sometimes automatically blocks files downloaded from the Internet, which may also affect the DLL files in the "buildagil" folder. In this case, the files can be manually unblocked, for example by going to:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\cadwork\userprofil_2025\3d\API.x64\buildagil\buildagil cadwork 2025 app Windows\buildagil
Right-click the affected file and select "Properties" to open the "General" tab. There, under "Security," select the "Allow" option and confirm by clicking "Apply." After restarting cadwork, the plugin should then be ready for use.
