Project Templates

Benefits of Project Templates

Project templates simplify the setup of new projects. When a new project is created based on a template, key settings, structures, and content are already preconfigured. This eliminates the need for manual setup, saving time and ensuring a consistent structure. Project templates are especially helpful when new projects are regularly created on buildagil. For more information on creating new projects, see the following article: Project Start & Project Completion.

Project templates are available to companies with a Team package. For more information about the packages, please visit the following link: Packages.

Creating a Project Template

We recommend having a specific template project created in which the desired structure and configuration can be set up (e.g., folder structure, project settings, etc.). Once the template project has been set up, you can contact Support to have the project template created based on this project.

Create a project template, configure a template project, define a folder structure, set project settings, default project structure, project template process

Customizing the Project Template

Changes made to the template project are not automatically applied to the project template. Changes to the template project (e.g., new folder structures, additional meeting types, or new employees) must be actively reported to Support. A new version of the template will be created only after this message has been submitted. The following settings and content can be imported from the template project.
