Activate the Preview Version

The preview version provides access to the new features of buildagil. These features are in the final testing phase before their general release. By activating the preview version, you can start using these features right away.

Since this is a preview version, buildagil may not behave as expected, or roles may change before the general release. You can deactivate the preview version at any time.

To activate the preview version, click on the "profile picture" and then on "Preview."

Tools & Interfaces:

BIM | Optimizing Model Tasks and Cross-Sections

Task markers in the model will now remain visible even after the "Tasks & Journal Entries" panel is closed.

When objects are hidden, task markers outside the bounding box of the visible objects are now displayed as new transparent objects rather than full color objects. This ensures that the positions of other tasks in the model remain visible, even if the corresponding objects are not currently displayed.

For more information on the model tasks, see the following article: Creating and Viewing BCF/Model Tasks.

BIM | Automatic View Generation

In the Model Viewer, new views can now be automatically created and loaded using artificial intelligence (AI) based on a prompt. The underlying filter is neither displayed nor saved. This ensures that the view remains unchanged even if the model is modified later, and individual elements can also be adjusted manually—for example, by showing or hiding them.

For more information about model views, see the following article: Model Views.

Journal | Data Entry via Voice Input

New journal entries can now be entered via voice input. By tapping the microphone icon, information such as title, classification, categories, description, involved company, person responsible, or due date is automatically assigned to the corresponding fields using artificial intelligence (AI). Existing information—for example, that entered via a Template—is supplemented rather than overwritten, unless explicitly stated otherwise. If the responsible person is recognized, the associated company is also automatically filled in. Multiple voice recordings can be made in succession, with the information already captured being taken into account each time.

In the Mobile App, you can also record a voice memo as part of the description. This allows for offline data entry on the construction site, since the voice memo can be transcribed at a later time. The transcript can then be applied either just to the description or to the entire journal entry.

Tools & Interfaces | Process Automation with Power Automate

buildagil can now be connected to Microsoft Power Automate in a new way. This connection enables the automation of workflows within buildagil as well as between buildagil and third-party systems, without requiring any programming knowledge. Flows can react to changes in buildagil in real time as they occur. Additionally, actions can be performed within buildagil, such as creating or updating tasks and documents. Typical use cases include automatically moving documents based on their status, automatically categorizing items based on their content, or forwarding information to third-party systems when items are created or modified in buildagil. The available triggers and actions correspond to the capabilities of the buildagil openCDE API. For more information, see the following article: Buildagil openCDE API.
