Visibility & Permissions for Tasks & Topics
Adjusting Visibility
By default, when a task / piece of information / decision / topic is created, it is assigned to the Participating Teams' Roster (Creator / Responsible Person / Responsible Person / Collaborators / Recipients) as well as for the Core Teams in the Project by default. Visibility can be adjusted both when creating the task and after creation using the shield icon By authorized users. However, visibility can only be restricted to the extent that the task, etc., remains visible to all participants.

If a participant (including, for example, the recipient of a comment) is added to a task or similar item after it has been created—and the task was not previously visible to that participant—a notification will appear prompting you to update the visibility settings to include the The participant's core team is added. In this case, you can either accept the automatically adjusted visibility settings or select a different team so that the task, etc., is visible to all participants.
