Activate preview version

The preview version offers access to the new roles of buildagil. These roles are in the final test phase before the general release. By activating the preview version, these roles can already be used.

As the preview version is a development status, it is possible that buildagil will not behave as expected or that roles will change before the general release. The preview version can be deactivated at any time.

To activate the preview version, click on the "Profile picture" and then on "Preview version".

Start & navigation | Search & filter for tasks & appointments

On the home page, tasks and appointments can now be searched and filtered according to certain properties. This provides a better overview of upcoming tasks and appointments. For tasks, you can filter by due date, participation and project. For appointments, the filter options Date, Participation and Project are available.

The search and filter are also available for tasks in the personal task board.

You can find more information about the home and the tasks & appointments in the following article: Personal home.

Start & Navigation | Optimized navigation in the mobile app

Navigation in the mobile app has been optimized so that appointments are now displayed as a separate tab. This enables clear access to the appointments in the app.

Further information on the mobile app can be found in the following article: Installing & using the mobile app.

Project settings | File naming conventions

File naming conventions are currently still being introduced on buildagil and are only available in the preview version. As this is a development status, there may still be changes until the general release.

File naming conventions allow files in the project to be named consistently and comprehensibly. They create a clear structure and enable the automatic review of file names. Compliance with the specifications is checked automatically. Deviations are detected and flagged by the system. This reduces manual corrections and creates a reliable basis for further processing. The file naming conventions can be defined by a project administrator in the Project settings.

Conventions can be defined project-wide for specific folders or file types. Configuration is carried out flexibly using modules such as free text, selection lists and fixed or variable number and text elements. Even complex requirements can be mapped using regular expressions. Further information on setting up file naming conventions can be found in the following article: Configuring file naming conventions.

After entering or adapting a convention or file name, the system automatically recognizes all affected files. Depending on the case, these are marked as "obsolete" or "invalid". This gives project administrators a clear overview and allows them to filter specifically for these files. Further information on the behavior of file naming conventions in the documents can be found in the following article: Use of file naming conventions.

The states are currently only visible to project administrators. Users can upload files without restrictions.

Documents | New file icons

In the documents, the icons for various file types and folders have been replaced by new icons.

Further information on the documents can be found in the following articles: Documents & plans.

BIM | Individual coloring of the cutting lines in the model

The line color of cut elements in the 3D model can now be individually adjusted. This allows the display in the model to be better configured to specific standards or personal preferences.

Further information on creating cuts in the model viewer can be found in the following article: Measure & cut in the model.

BIM | Setting the field of view

It is now possible to adjust the camera's field of view in the model viewer settings. This allows, for example, small interiors to be displayed more clearly, which makes planning and visualization easier.

Further information on the settings in the model viewer can be found in the following article: Opening models.

Journal | Alphabetical structure of the designation

The journal entries can now also be sorted by name. The list is sorted alphabetically. This means that journal entries can be exported in the desired order, for example.

For more information on printing journal entries, see the following article: Printing journal entries.
