The following article describes what the preview version of buildagil is and how to activate it. It also describes the roles that are currently available in the preview version.
The preview version offers access to the new roles of buildagil. These roles are in the final test phase before the general release. By activating the preview version, these roles can already be used.
As the preview version is a development status, it is possible that buildagil will not behave as expected or that roles will change before the general release. The preview version can be deactivated at any time.
To activate the preview version, click on the profile picture and then on preview version.

Display of draft status for tasks & journal entries
The creation of journal entries has been adapted and optimized, making it easier to use and more stable. New options are constantly being added. Your feedback is very welcome.

It is now possible to create templates for journal entries. This simplifies the process of creating journal entries considerably.

For more information on the functionality of the journal templates, see the following article: Task templates
Documents that are saved as favorites are displayed directly when a plan section is added. A search in the folder structure is therefore not necessary. This makes it easier to add plan sections to journal entries. The role makes it possible to create plan sections offline in the mobile app and add them to a journal entry.

You can find further information on creating plan sections in the following article: Creating plan sections
Journal entries can now also be created offline in the mobile app. To make this role available in the project, the project must first be pinned. The journal entry can then be created. If there is no internet connection when saving, a message appears stating that the entry could not be saved. Saving can be repeated as soon as the Internet connection is available again. This has the advantage that documentation or defects can be recorded directly on the construction site even if the internet connection is poor.

Once a journal entry has been created, you can then select in a new entry which content is to be copied from the previous entry. This has the advantage that recurring information does not have to be entered again, making the creation of new journal entries much faster and more efficient.

In the mobile app, a new entry with selected content can also be opened directly via "Save & new" or "Save draft & new".

In the mobile app, you can now select whether the integrated camera or the device camera should be used to take pictures and videos. The integrated camera is activated by default, which allows direct editing and multiple photos to be taken.
You can switch to the device camera via the options. Depending on the device used, additional recording settings are available. However, direct editing after recording is not possible with the device camera and images cannot be recorded in direct succession.

The offline availability of documents in the mobile app has been optimized in terms of display and performance. Documents that are saved as favorites can be made available offline.
The documents held offline are kept up to date in the background. If a document held offline has recently changed and has not yet been updated, a corresponding message is also displayed. This ensures that you can always work with the latest documents, even in offline mode.

You can find more information about the favorites in the following article: Favorites
It is possible to export a view as a PDF. The view is copied to the clipboard and can be pasted into tasks, topics and journal entries in the description or in a comment.
A true-to-scale export is only possible for 2D views.
A true-to-scale PDF export of views enables precise further processing, sketching and additional technical details without having to go through a CAD program, allowing you to work more efficiently with the model. The view can be aligned to the cut surface with "Focus", which facilitates precise positioning and enables an optimal display for export. Further information can be found in the following article: Aligning a view to the cut

The display of teams in the project settings has been revised and optimized.
If the "New items visible by default" option is activated for a team, the visibility of new tasks & topics and journal entries is automatically extended unless it is manually restricted. This option has no effect on existing elements or folders & documents.
The order in the settings determines the display order in the contact list and also influences the priority of a team. The priority of the teams influences the visibility of tasks & topics, meetings and other elements under certain circumstances. If a person belongs to several teams and is added to an element, the team ranked higher in the order is given authorization by default. It is therefore advisable to prioritize teams with specific access rights over larger teams with many people. This can be set using drag & drop.

You can find more information about the team settings in the following article: Teams
The display of the plot service in the project settings has been revised and optimized. The desired provider can be selected here and information on invoicing and instructions for order creation can be set.

You can find detailed information on plotting documents & plans in the following article: Plotting documents & plans
Favorites can now be added directly from the home page without leaving the favorites view. The desired project is conveniently opened within the view and the desired documents can be selected.

You can find more information about the favorites in the following article: Favorites
It is now possible to control email notifications in more detail. This means that email notifications can be limited to meeting and acceptance logs or deactivated completely.

You can find more information about the messages & notifications in the following article: Messages & notifications
If a journal entry or task is added to a control or inspection and is still in the draft stage, this can now be recognized by the icon. This means that the status of the item is immediately visible.
