Basic information on model replacement
By integrating buildagil into big, the complete model, plan and document structure from buildagil is displayed directly in big so that the same, centrally stored data can be used at all times. This speeds up model exchange in BIM projects, simplifies access to current plans and models and reduces the risk of outdated information. At the same time, the entire BIM workflow is optimized because all participants can control the construction project in big without switching systems, while versioning, folder structure and permissions remain reliably managed in buildagil.
The automatic exchange of model tasks between big and buildagil is deliberately avoided, as this would lead to multiple stored data statuses and potentially parallel editing of model tasks in different systems. This would compromise a central, clear data source and thus the central control and traceability of the project. This in turn would cause additional coordination and clean-up work.
