Export journal entries as Excel
The following article describes how journal entries can be exported / synchronized to an automatically updating Excel list, which can then be used for further processing.
Go to Journal in the project. You can then use filters to set which entries are to be exported. Only the visible entries are transferred to the list after filtering. Once the filters have been set, click on the Export icon.
A "query.iqy" file is now downloaded automatically. This file establishes a direct connection to the tasks / topics in buildagil.
When the file is opened, Excel opens automatically. Click on Activate in the security message so that the connection between the Excel file and buildagil can be established.
All journal entries are now displayed in Excel with the live status; if something is changed in a journal entry in buildagil, this is updated in the Excel file.
You can use this role to make your own evaluations. You always work with the latest data, as there is a constant connection with buildagil.
