Comparing PDF Documents

Depending on the PDF program, either all changes or only specific changes (e.g., to text, images, and annotations) can be detected and displayed.

Opening Two Versions of PDF Documents

To perform the comparison, you must set up the connection from buildagil to the appropriate PDF program. You can find instructions here: Connect Local PDF Programs.

To compare two PDF documents, you must first open both documents in the appropriate program. To do this, navigate to the desired PDF document and then click Edit in PDF app.

The document will then open in the appropriate PDF program. For more information on editing in PDF programs, see the following articles:

After that, you can open a second document or an older version of the document. To open an older version of the same document, click Details & version history on the document.

Then open the desired version using Open Version.

To open the file in your PDF reader, click Open in PDF app.

Both PDF documents should now be open in the appropriate program.
