As soon as a change is made to a document, the version of the document changes. This makes it possible to display and restore previous versions. By right-clicking on the document, the details & version history can be selected.
The complete version history is displayed. You can find detailed information on the content in the version history in the following article: Contents Version history
Click on the corresponding version to open the document.
If the document is opened in a previous version, there are options to restore the version.
Document types that are not part of Office 365 (PDF, IFC, BAM, etc.) cannot be restored directly in the app. The desired version must be downloaded first.
The current version in the same folder can then be replaced by the downloaded version.
Right-click on the file to be restored in the OneDrive synchronized directory and select the version history.
Now select the version to be restored, downloaded or deleted.
If a document / element has been deleted, it first ends up in the recycle bin. The deleted documents / elements can then be restored from the recycle bin.
To do this, go to Recycle bin in the menu.
Select the document / element to be restored and click on Restore.
Tip: If there are several documents, several elements can be selected and restored at the same time using Shift + click.
If the object/element has also been removed from the recycle bin, please contact our support.
