Importing Folders & Documents via Upload

Documents and folders can be uploaded directly to the buildagil document repository using the upload feature. This is the standard and easiest way to upload documents to buildagil. For detailed information on uploading documents, see the following article: Upload Documents / Folders.


For data migrations involving large amounts of data, a structured and traceable import method is recommended. One possible solution is described in the following section: Import with Goodsync


Importing Folders & Documents with GoodSync

With GoodSync, you can import documents and folders into buildagil easily and in an organized manner. This method is especially recommended for data migrations involving a large number of files.


Importing large amounts of data may cause the connection for the logged-in user to be temporarily throttled or interrupted, and individual files may need to be resynchronized. The throttling may also temporarily affect access to buildagil.


Data imports should preferably be done overnight or on weekends, since bandwidth is higher and throttling is lower during those times.
