360° Images

360° images are automatically recognized on buildagil if they are uploaded with an exact aspect ratio of 2:1. This allows them to be displayed directly in the preview. This aspect ratio serves as a technical indicator that the image is a 360° image. Images with a different aspect ratio will not be displayed in 360° mode. You can navigate the image using your mouse.

Recommended image sizes are:

• 5376 x 2688 (standard for many cameras)
• 8192 x 4096 (Recommended maximum)
• 4096 x 2048 (A good compromise for faster loading times)

JPG is the recommended file type, as compression ensures a good balance between high image quality and fast loading times in the browser, even at very high resolutions. If you have a local program installed on your device that supports 360° image formats, you can also open the files directly from buildagil using the "Open in App" feature.
