Editing PDFs with PDF-XChange
Working with PDF-XChange
Buildagil enables seamless editing of PDF documents. The selected document opens directly in PDF-XChange, allowing you to take advantage of XChange’s extensive editing features. Changes are automatically saved as new versions in buildagil. This ensures that documents are always up to date and eliminates the need to download PDF documents for editing.

The document can be edited as needed. When the document is saved, the changes are automatically synchronized with buildagil. Multiple users cannot edit PDF documents at the same time. To avoid conflicts between document versions, you can check out the document. Checking out the document prevents other users from editing it.

Troubleshooting: PDF-XChange Won't Open
When I try to open PDF documents with PDF-XChange, the program does not open; instead, the error message "No program was found to open the PDF document" appears.

This can be resolved by installing the new version of buildagil Opener. The download link can be found in the following article: Installing the buildagil Opener.
Troubleshooting Issues When Opening PDF Documents
When opening PDF documents with PDF-XChange, the error message "The document cannot be opened. Error [System]: Invalid parameter" may appear. In this case, the document cannot be loaded.

This can be resolved by deleting existing connections to SharePoint under "File" -> "Open." These connections prevent documents from being opened from buildagil.

Troubleshooting: The buildagil login screen appears instead of the document content
When opening a PDF with PDF-XChange Editor, the document may not load correctly. Instead, the buildagil login window appears as the PDF content.

You should check whether the SharePoint extension is enabled in the PDF-Xchange settings.
