Opening Office Documents Using the Mobile App
Enabling Access to Office Apps
To open Office files such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint directly from the buildagil mobile app, you must first establish a one-time connection between the Office app and buildagil. To do this, you must use the same email address that you use for your Microsoft login on buildagil. The Office apps can be installed from the Apple Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android). After signing in to one of the Office apps, you can link a new SharePoint account using the "Add storage account" role.
To do this, select the "SharePoint site URL" option.
You can then insert the following link: https://buildagil.sharepoint.com/docs
Once this step is completed, a folder named "docs" will appear in SharePoint. Once the connection is established, all Office documents from buildagil will be available directly in the respective Office app. No further synchronization is necessary, as access is automatic.
Opening Office Files Using the buildagil Mobile App
Once the Office app has been connected to buildagil, you can open Office files directly through the buildagil mobile app. To do this, simply tap the corresponding Word, Excel, or PowerPoint icon in the document overview, or open the document using the options in the desired Office app. The file will automatically open in the corresponding Office app. For more information, see the following article: Creating & Editing Documents.
