Version check for printed PDF documents

PDF documents can now be provided with a QR code. This QR code shows whether the printed plan or document is up-to-date when it is read in. The version check can be executed by all persons, regardless of whether a person is a user in the corresponding project or not. In addition, the version check refers directly to the most up-to-date digital plan, which can be opened by users in the corresponding project.

tablet mode

Tablet mode makes it easier to use and operate buildagil by touch when using it with a Windows convertible or Windows tablet. By switching to tablet mode, buildagil can be used with the same display and gesture control as the mobile app.

To use tablet mode, the desktop app must be installed first: Install desktop app

In the desktop app, you can click on your profile picture. The tablet mode can then be activated there.

Tablet mode is only active for the open window and deactivates automatically when the window is closed.

Optimized window navigation

When an element is opened in buildagil, the window navigation appears at the bottom right of the screen. The window navigation can be used to switch between open elements and minimize elements.

To switch between open elements, click on the desired element. Click on the currently open element to minimize it.

Click on the bottom bar to minimize all elements.

More compact navigation

When using buildagil, significantly fewer new tabs / windows are now opened. This affects both the browser and the Desktop app.

Tip: Projects and elements can be opened directly in a new tab / window using the middle mouse button.

Tips and tricks: Favorites

The use of favorites can optimize collaboration with buildagil. Favorites are used for quick navigation in the project and from the personal home page.

For example, favorites can be created for folders, files or views that are used frequently. These folders, files and views can then be opened with a single click. Favorites can be created for almost all divisions and elements of buildagil.
