Creating and Editing OneNote Notebooks

Creating Notebooks

New OneNote notebooks can be created directly within the buildagil document structure. Once you enter a name, the notebook is created.

Editing Notebooks

OneNote notebooks can be edited both online and in the OneNote desktop app.

Edit online:
When a notebook is opened in buildagil, it can be edited directly in the online view. New sections, pages, and notes can be added as needed.

Editing in the OneNote desktop app:
A notebook can be opened directly in the desktop app using the "Open in OneNote" option. Buildagil automatically syncs all changes. Once the connection is established, the notebook is accessible in the desktop app at any time.

Uploading an Existing Notebook to buildagil

A locally stored notebook can be uploaded to buildagil by moving it, using the OneNote desktop app, to the OneDrive location synchronized with buildagil. The exact procedure varies depending on the version of OneNote you have installed.

The project must first be synced with OneDrive. For more information, see the following article: Synchronization with OneDrive.

In the latest versions of OneNote, you can move the notebook to the desired OneDrive location by selecting "File" and then "Save a Copy." For more detailed information, see the following article: Moving a OneNote notebook to OneDrive.
