Templates for controls & inspections

Use of templates

Templates enable the standardized and efficient creation of inspections. When creating a new inspection, an existing template can be selected via "Use template". The stored information and the prepared procedure are automatically adopted. The "Date & time" and "Excused" fields must then be completed manually. Fields that have already been filled in can be edited at any time.

Creation of templates

New templates can be created in two ways. Either via the "plus symbol" in the template overview or directly from an existing control / inspection via the "Create template" role.

Existing templates can be edited, pinned, copied or deleted.

The following fields can be stored in a template. The completed fields are transferred to the new inspection when the template is selected.

Empty fields are not transferred when the template is used:

  1. Template description (only visible for selection)

  3. Visibility of the template: teams (visible for selected teams and contact groups)
  4. Visibility of the template: personal (only visible to the creator)

Cross-project templates

Cross-project templates enable company-wide standardization of controls and inspections. These templates are available to all of a company's collaborators across all projects.

Cross-project templates are only available for companies with a team package.

The templates for companies can be found in the same overview and have the same functionality as the project templates.

When creating the template, you can choose between "Company" and "Personal". Company templates are visible and editable for all collaborators. Personal templates remain private.

Cross-project templates only contain fields that are identical in all projects. For example, no categories can be set as these are different in each project.
