Installing the Outlook app
To install the buildagil Outlook app, it must first be downloaded. The Outlook app can be downloaded via the following link: Download buildagil Outlook App
The app can then be added to Outlook via the following link: Adding the Outlook Add-In.
The app can be added in "My add-ins" under "Add custom add-in".
Then select the XML file and confirm the installation in the dialog.
Now the buildagil Outlook app appears in Outlook on the home page.
Sharing the Outlook app with the entire organization
The buildagil Outlook app can be activated organization-wide. With such an activation, the app automatically appears in the Outlook applications of all collaborators.
Administrators with the appropriate rights for the organization can carry out the activation in Microsoft Admin Center.
As a first step, download the Outlook app via the following link: Download buildagil Outlook App.
You can then select the "Upload custom apps" option under "Integrated apps" in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center settings.
You can then select "Office add-in" as the app type and upload the app as a "manifest file (.xml)".
In the next step, the entire organization is selected. Alternatively, it is possible to selectively enable the Outlook app for certain users or groups only. In this case, the app is only made available to the selected users or groups within the organization.
The authorization requirements can also be checked and confirmed.
After the review, the buildagil Outlook app can be deployed.

Filing mails & attachments
Mails and attachments can be dragged and dropped directly to the desired location using the Outlook app. When a project is opened, emails and attachments can be saved directly to the document storage. If a favorite is set to a folder, emails and attachments can be dragged and dropped directly to the favorites folder. It is also possible to attach mails and attachments directly to a comment or a description of a task.
