Copy / Paste


Elements can always be copied on buildagil, as in Windows Explorer, with Right-click -> Copy or the key combination Crtl + C. The data is copied to the clipboard and can then be pasted to the target location with Ctrl + V.

Here are some possible applications and examples.

Upload documents:
If documents are copied from the Explorer, they can be pasted / uploaded in buildagil with Ctrl + V.



Insert attachments:
Copied documents that are copied from Explorer can be inserted / uploaded in buildagil as attachments for tasks, topics, journal entries and inspections. The documents can be copied and pasted into descriptions, comments etc. With Ctrl + V.



Linking documents and images:
If documents or images stored in buildagil are copied with Ctrl + C, the link is also saved to the clipboard. The link can then be inserted in a comment, for example.

Tip: To select elements more quickly, hold Crtl while clicking on the elements (documents, images, etc.).



Copying to the document storage:
By copying with Ctrl + C and pasting with Ctrl + V, documents and folders can be copied from one folder to another (within the project or across projects).

Moving in the document storage:
Documents and folders can be moved from one folder to another by cutting with Ctrl + X and pasting with Ctrl + V.



Clipboard in the mobile app:
If a document or image is on the clipboard, it can be uploaded from the clipboard in the mobile app. For example, documents can be uploaded or images inserted into inspections.



Person field for controls & inspections



The field for people can be used to select any contacts from the project and display them in an inspection / control.
This makes it possible, for example, to define responsible persons or persons present in the protocol.

Conversations for documents


Conversations / topics can now be created directly from a document.

Desktop app for macOS


The buildagil desktop app is now also available for macOS. This extension allows buildagil to be used separately from the browser and pinned to the dock.
