Local PDF Editing

It is now possible to open and edit PDF documents using the local PDF app. The Adobe Acrobat, PDF-XChange, and Bluebeam apps can now be used to edit documents. Edits made to the document in the local app are automatically synced with buildagil when the document is saved.

This Article describes how to use the PDF app with buildagil.

Create Business Cards from Contacts

When a contact is opened in buildagil, the Download Business Card role appears. The digital business card is then downloaded and can be imported as a contact in Outlook or on a mobile device, for example. The business card saves the name, company, address, phone number, and email address.

Optimized Navigation Within Documents

When navigating through documents, the scroll position, filter settings, and search terms are cached. This ensures that when you navigate back and forth within buildagil, you return to the same view and position as before.

Optimized Filtering, Sorting, and Searching in Documents

The filter and sort functions are also displayed in the columns of the document view.

You can click the sort icon to sort by name or modification date, for example.

You can set the filters for the current column using the filter icon. As usual, you can select multiple filter options at the same time when filtering.

Documents can also be sorted by creation date. To do this, click Created under the Sort icon. A document's creation date is the date on which the document was created or uploaded to buildagil.

The search function now includes a new option to search only in folder and file names (rather than in both the names and the contents of the documents). To do this, select the Name option in the Search Options.

Expand Search and Filters to All Items

When searching and/or filtering a specific view (e.g., My Tasks or My Meetings), you can now use Expand Search/Filter to All Items to extend the search to all items without having to re-enter the search term or reset the filter.
