Data import of documents & folders with GoodSync

GoodSync makes it easy to import documents & folders to buildagil. We recommend GoodSync for data migrations where a large number of files need to be uploaded to buildagil.

The import of large amounts of data can lead to the connection to SharePoint being temporarily throttled or interrupted for the logged-in user and individual files may have to be synchronized again. The throttling may also temporarily affect access to buildagil.

Data should preferably be imported overnight or at weekends, as the bandwidth is higher and throttling is lower at these times.

To do this, the job type must first be changed to Backup from left to right (one-way) in the job options of GoodSync under General.

Next, open the Folder Options in Right order page.

Now check the option Save protocols within the GoodSync installation folder and save the settings.

Now the connection to buildagil can be established via SharePoint. To do this, select OneDrive Office365 SharePoint as the destination.

Then enter the following ID under Tenant in the Authorization under Advanced Options: ebd25fe4-c9e3-474f-81d0-59b4c8423fbd.
Then click on Connect to OneDrive Office365 SharePoint.

In addition, the target path must be changed to msgraph://graph.microsoft.com/sites/:site:buildagil.sharepoint.com.

The connection is then established and a destination folder can be selected for the import.
To select the target folder, select the project at the "SITE" level and then click on "[DRIVE] Documents".
