Compare PDF documents

The following article describes how different versions of a PDF document can be compared with each other.

Depending on the PDF program, any or only specific changes (e.g. To text, images and annotations) can be recognized and displayed.

Open two versions of PDF documents



For the comparison, the connection from buildagil to the corresponding PDF program must be set up. You can find a description here: Connect local PDF programs

To compare two PDF documents, both documents must first be opened with the corresponding program.
To do this, navigate to the desired PDF document in the documents and then click on Edit in PDF app.



The document will then open in the corresponding PDF program.

A second document or an older version of the document can then be opened.
To open an older version of the same document, click on Details & version history in the document.



Then open the desired version via Open version.



To open in the PDF program, click on Open in PDF app.



The two PDF documents should now be open in the corresponding program.
