When you register for the first time, you must first accept the invitation to buildagil. You will find a description in the following article: Accept invitation

Open Https://app.buildagil.com in your browser or click on a link to a project in buildagil.
Enter your e-mail address and then click on Next.



Enter your password and then click on Log in.



After successfully logging in, you will land on the Project start page.

Troubleshooting during login



If the following troubleshooting does not lead to success, you are welcome to contact support.

Username not available


If one of the following messages appears when you accept the invitation, it is most likely because you do not have a Microsoft account and cannot create an account yourself. Please contact your IT support so that they can create a corresponding account in your tenant, or contact our support team.







User not found


If the error message "Email address not found" / "User not found" appears, this can have various causes.



The following sections describe a number of ways to resolve this problem:

Invitation from buildagil not accepted
You cannot access buildagil if you have not yet accepted the invitation from buildagil. The invitation is accepted by clicking on the link in the invitation email from buildagil.

Wrong Microsoft account used
If you use the wrong login for buildagil, you will not be able to access the projects.
Please note that the email address with which you receive the notifications from buildagil is always used for the login.
The login with the correct account can be executed as described in the following steps:

Click on the link.



The following message appears, the browser window can now be closed.



Open the buildagil page again and click on Use another account when logging in.



Log in completely new by re-entering the e-mail address and password.



If this still does not work, the cache in the Internet browser can also be deleted. Here are instructions on how to do this: Empty browser cache

No access to the project
If a link is forwarded from buildagil, it may reach a person who is not registered as a user of the project. So if you click on a link that does not come directly from buildagil and the error message appears, you most likely do not have access to the project. Contact the sender of the link regarding access to the data.
