Recycle bin
Display of deleted elements
Deleted elements such as folders, documents, tasks & topics, meetings, agenda items, categories, etc. Are moved to the project's recycle bin and remain there for 90 days until they are permanently deleted. Only items that were visible to the corresponding user are displayed. You can find more information on this in the following article: Visibilities & authorizations of project information & settings.

Restore deleted elements
Deleted elements can be restored as long as they are in the recycle bin, allowing accidental deletions to be undone. To do this, the desired elements can be selected and restored to the original storage location via "Restore".

Delete deleted elements
Deleted elements in the recycle bin cannot be permanently deleted to ensure traceability in the project. If this is absolutely necessary in individual cases, please contact Support.
Troubleshooting
When restoring an element, the following error message may appear: "The element "File name" cannot be restored". This can occur if the original storage location no longer exists or an element with the same name already exists at the target location. In these cases, the element cannot be automatically restored to the original storage location.

If the original folder path no longer exists, it must first be created again before the restore is possible. If an element with the same name already exists at the target location, it must be renamed or moved before the restore is attempted again.
Restore failed, Restore item error, Destination folder does not exist, Duplicate name on restore, Recycle bin error, Recreate folder, Rename item restore
