A Microsoft account is required for access to buildagil. This account is managed by the user themselves or by the user's organization and not by buildagil. It is the same account that is used for Office products such as Outlook and Word. The password can only be changed by the user themselves / the user's organization. The following section describes how the password can be reset.
Switch to "Restore account", then you can enter the e-mail address, phone number or Skype Name for which the password needs to be reset. Click on Next.
The security code can then be sent to one of the alternative contact e-mail addresses or telephone numbers for this account. Click on Next.
Now you need to enter the missing information to make sure that this is really your email address or phone number. Next, select Send code.
The security code will be sent to the alternative contact email address that was previously selected. If this is not displayed, check your junk e-mail folder. If the email has not arrived, an alternative confirmation method can be selected.
Enter the security code in the Verify identity field and then select Next.
By entering a new password now, your password will be reset. To avoid typing errors, the password must be entered twice.
Click on the Forgotten password field when logging in.
Enter the numbers shown in the illustration and click on Next.
Enter the code received and click on Next.
Enter a new password.
If the following error message appears, resetting the password is blocked by your organization.
In this case, please contact your IT contact person, who can reset your password. The following section describes two possible solutions as to how the password can be reset by IT:
The organization can activate the self-service for resetting passwords so that collaborators can reset their passwords themselves. Instructions for activating the self-service can be found at the following link: Activation of self-service.
An administrator of the Microsoft tenant can reset the password directly via Microsoft Entra ID. You can find step-by-step instructions here: Password reset by administrator.
