Local PDF editing

The new option is to open and edit PDF documents with the local PDF app. The Apps Adobe Acrobat, PDF-XChange and Bluebeam can now be used for editing. Edits made to the document in the local app are automatically synchronized with buildagil when the document is saved.

This Article describes how to use the PDF app with buildagil.

Create business cards from contacts

When a contact is opened in buildagil, the role Download business card appears. The digital business card is then downloaded and can be imported as a contact in Outlook or on the mobile device, for example. The name, company, address, telephone number and email are saved in the business card.

Optimized navigation in the documents

The scroll position, filter settings and search terms are saved temporarily during navigation in the documents. This means that when you navigate back and forth in buildagil, you will return to the same view and position as before.

Optimized filtering, sorting and search in documents

The filter and sort functions are also displayed in the columns of the document view.

The Sort icon can be selected, e.g. To set sorting by name or modification date.

The filters for the current column can be set using the Filter icon. When filtering, several filter options can be selected simultaneously as usual.

Documents can also be sorted by creation date. To do this, click on Created under the Sort icon. The created date of a document is the date on which the document was created or uploaded to buildagil.

A new option is available in the search function to search only in the names of folders and files (instead of in the names and content of the documents). To do this, the Name option can be selected in the Search options.

Extend search and filter to all elements

If a specific view (e.g. My tasks or my meetings) is searched and/or filtered, the new Extend search/filter to all elements can be used to extend the search to all elements without having to enter the search term again or reset the filter.
