This page summarizes what to do when you receive an invitation to join a new project. If you would like more detailed information, you can watch the following video tutorial to learn more about buildagil and its key roles: Getting Started - Video Tutorial.

Accept the email invitation

You can use buildagil as soon as you have been invited to a project by a project administrator. The invitation will be sent to you by email. Click the link in the email and log in. For more information, see Video or the following article: Accepting the Invitation.


Additional Profile Information

By clicking on your profile picture in the navigation bar, you can view and update your profile information. You can then review your contact information. If necessary, you can update this information. This information is visible to all project participants across all projects. You can also upload a profile photo so that other users can recognize you more easily. For more information, see Video or the following article: Personal Settings.


Check your notifications and adjust your notification preferences

The Notification Center alerts you to new tasks or information. Here, you can check whether any tasks have already been assigned to you. You can also review your notification settings and adjust them to suit your preferences. For more information, see Video or in the following article: Messages & Notifications.


Create Your First Task

Tasks are a key tool for collaboration on buildagil. Try it out for yourself right now. You can delete the task afterward. Using the plus icon in the main navigation bar on the left, you can create a new task directly. You can assign yourself as the person responsible or test the tasks together with someone from your team. For more information, see Video or the following article: Creating Tasks.


Visit our Knowledge Base and chat with our support team

The Knowledge Base offers detailed articles and guidance on all roles. Use the Search Function or navigate through the help structure to find the article you're looking for. If you have any questions, you can also reach us via the chat icon in the lower right corner. From Monday through Friday, a member of our team will be available to assist you personally from 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. And 1:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.
